world. Our 100% Wild Agave spirit was born in our family’s colonial hacienda
from 1793, home to a national heritage chapel that inspired our name, La Capilla.
We decided to create the truest and most respectful elaboration of the
ancestral and artisanal Venezuelan Cocuy:

Cocuy La Capilla is a brand born in Falcon, and like the Cocuy Agave Trelease, it grows in the wild against all odds. Inspired by our great uncle, Mentor Emeritus, Ivan S. Smith, we are committed to preserving the ancestral and traditional methods used to extract the purest Cocuy for every discerning drinker and give back to the communities who have been producing it for generations.
